Light novel author Kohei Azano announced in the 17th volume of "Tokyo Ravens" that the series ends in the 18th light novel volume, to be released in the winter of 2026. The story centers on Harutora Tsuchimikado, a young boy born into a prestigious onmyoji family. However, he lacks spiritual power, meaning he cannot perform magic, and resigns himself to being a normal person.  He meets Natsume Tsuchimikado, Harutora's childhood friend and a prodigious onmyoji who became the next heir of the Tsuchimikado family.  Due to a series of events, Harutora is forced to take on the role of her familiar and enroll in an onmyoji school in Tokyo, where he becomes involved in the dangerous world of magic, spirits, and ancient conspiracies. North American footprint Webtoon announced that Tapas will end its service on Wednesday, March 31st, 2027. According to Tapas, both the platform and previously unlocked content will become inaccessible after the service ends. The shutdown also means that readers will lose access to previously unlocked episodes.  Unlike some digital platforms that allow users to retain purchased content after a service closes, Tapas will no longer provide access to the platform or its content after March 2027.
