Aiko posted an OP MV for the second season of Koji Miura's "Blue Box".

The official YouTube channel of Aiko posted the full MV of "The Color of Your Flower", and the song serves as the OP theme song of the second season of Koji Miura's "Blue Box", where the song has already been released. The song is included on her 17th studio album, "Maddening Thoughts of the Final Hot Days", to be released on Wednesday, October 21st.

The song is about the excitement, uncertainty, and emotional growth that come with falling in love. It explores how meeting someone special can change the way you see your life, even when you are still young and unsure of your feelings.

The title uses a flower as a metaphor for a person's individuality, beauty, and potential for growth. Everyone has their own color, just as every flower blooms differently. In the context of love, the person you care about may seem uniquely beautiful, but getting to know them also means discovering feelings and sides of them you did not understand before.

The song is about how love changes, how painful emotions can become part of their growth, and how they should allow themselves time to bloom.

The story centers on Taiki Inomata, a member of the Eimei High School men's badminton team who strives to succeed, and Chinatsu Kano, a member of the Eimei High School women's basketball team who has a dedication to becoming a strong player. Together, they are slowly developing their relationship as they strive to make it to the national championship with their respective teams.

The anime series will be streamed globally on Netflix as part of the fall 2026 anime season on Sunday..
