Sangatsu no Phantasia posted an OP MV for Muchimaro's "Even the Student Council Has Its Holes".

The official YouTube channel of Sangatsu no Phantasia posted a full MV of "Run Away", also known as "You Just Gotta Run Through the Wind", and the song serves as the OP theme song for Muchimaro's "Even the Student Council Has Its Holes", which has already been released. The CD single is to be released on Wednesday, November 25th.

The song is about moving forward, embracing life's uncertainties, and finding the courage to keep going even when the path ahead is difficult. The group consists of Mia, the vocalist and novelist, who is the central figure and writes the stories and novels that inspire the unit's songs.

The message of the song can be interpreted as a celebration of forward momentum, freedom, and the courage to live on your own terms. Its message is simple: don't wait for life to become perfect before you begin moving. Accept that challenges are part of the journey, learn as you go, and keep pursuing what matters to you.

The story centers on Ume Mizunoe, a first-year high school student and literature enthusiast who excels in the humanities but struggles with science and math. He is press-ganged into joining the student council to fix his academic woes.

He joins Hisako Kotobuki, a third-year student with a ponytail who serves as the student council president. She is an overachiever who excels in both academics and sports.

Rather than focusing on formal school government, the council handles bizarre student requests, everyday club disputes, and awkward social situations. Ume joins the student council to boost his grades and avoid repeating a grade, only to discover the council is a chaotic group of eccentric, weird, and endearing misfits.

The anime series will be streamed on Oceanveil as part of the fall 2026 anime season, available in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, every Sunday.
