Ai Higuchi posted an ED MV for the second season of Yugo Kobayashi's "Aoashi".
The official YouTube channel of singer Ai Higuchi posted a full MV for "Triangle", and the song serves as the ED theme song for the second season of Yugo Kobayashi's "Aoashi", which has been released.
The song is about ambition, perseverance, self-doubt, and the determination to keep chasing your dreams, even when reaching the next level means starting over again. It reminds listeners that success is not the end of the journey. Every achievement opens the door to another challenge.
Higuchi explained that no matter how high someone climbs, there is always another level above. Becoming number one at one level can mean starting again at the bottom of the next. Despite the pain, the enjoyment of continuing to challenge oneself makes the journey worthwhile.
The song teaches listeners that pursuing a dream is not always comfortable. There will be moments of uncertainty, competition, disappointment, and self-doubt. Every achievement is another stepping stone.
You don't need to prove that you're better than everyone else. You need to discover how much further you can go through consistent effort, learning, and determination. Don't chase success just to reach the top. Chase growth because you want to discover what you're capable of achieving. The journey doesn't end when you reach the top of one triangle. There's always another mountain to climb.
The second season of the anime series follows Ashito Aoi as he joins the senior youth Team A, where he must adapt to the faster pace and unique traits of veteran senior players. His football team, Esperion, enters the high-stakes youth battle against talented players from the youth Premier League.
The original story centers on Ashito Aoi, a young soccer player from a small Japanese town who joins a top J-League youth soccer team and works his way up to make his professional debut. Although he is talented and challenging, he believes he can change the face of Japanese football.
The anime series will be streamed on Crunchyroll as part of the fall 2026 anime season, available in the Americas (including North, Central, and South America), Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, the CIS, and Asia (including India and Southeast Asia), every Sunday.
