Centimillimental posted an OP MV for Eiko Mutsuhana and Vient's "Hello, I am a Witch, and My Crush Wants Me to Make a Love Potion".
The official YouTube channel of Centimillimental posted a full MV for "Kanawanai" or "I Can't Compare", and the song serves as the OP theme song for Eiko Mutsuhana and Vient's "Hello, I am a Witch, and My Crush Wants Me to Make a Love Potion", which the song has been released.
Centimillimental is a solo project produced by multi-instrumentalist Atsushi, who handles all aspects of Centimillimental, including songwriting, composing, arranging, vocals, piano, guitar, and programming. He visited the Philippines as part of the Cafune Tour in November 2025.
The song is a heartfelt song about unrequited love, emotional vulnerability, and the courage to continue loving someone even when you believe your feelings may never be returned. At its heart, the song explores the painful contradiction of loving someone deeply while knowing that you might never become the person they love.
The song teaches listeners that loving someone doesn't always mean you will end up together. Sometimes, you meet someone who makes your heart feel alive, but circumstances prevent your feelings from becoming reality.
You might compare yourself to someone else, question your own worth, or wish you could change the situation. But love should never require manipulating another person's feelings. The important thing is to acknowledge your emotions, accept your imperfections, and find the courage to express what is in your heart. Even if your feelings are never reciprocated, that doesn't mean you are unworthy of love.
You cannot force someone to love you, nor should you measure your worth against the person they choose. True love comes from sincerity, not competition. Sometimes, the bravest thing you can do is express your feelings, accept the truth, and learn to love yourself along the way. The song isn't just about an impossible romance. It's about learning that your worth isn't determined by whether someone chooses you.
The story centers on Rose, a socially awkward, shut-in witch who lives quietly in a cottage on a lake. While she is a skilled sorceress who prefers solitude, she has a quiet, sometimes petty stubbornness when it comes to keeping Harij around.
She meets Harij Azm, a kind, earnest, and somewhat dense royal knight who likes taking care of others. He is strictly devoted to his duties, though his frequent visits to Rose gradually awaken genuine romantic feelings.
Through a mix of misunderstandings, the truth about the potion's actual purpose comes to light, and Harij's true romantic feelings are revealed.
The anime series will be streamed on Crunchyroll as part of the fall 2026 anime season, available worldwide, excluding Japan and China, every Monday.
