Harunohi Biyori and Yuu Hitaki's "The Otome Heroine's Fight for Survival" receives an anime in July 2027.

The official website of Harunohi Biyori and Yuu Hitaki's "The Otome Heroine's Fight for Survival" announced that the anime adaptation is in the works and revealed the details, including the cast and staff, which will air in July 2027.

The cast for the anime series is Fuka Izumi as Alicia "Alia" Melrose, an orphan who realizes she is actually the protagonist of the otome game "Ciel" after a reincarnated woman tried to take over her body. Disgusted that her horrible life is just a backstory to set up the game, she turns from a pure girl into a jaded, cold person.

Tokihiro Sasaki is directing the anime at the animation studios Studio Clutch and Seven. Together with Touko Machida, who is writing the series composition, Hiroyuki Miseki is designing the characters, and Kohta Yamamoto, Shun Narita, and Yuki Furuhashi are composing the music.

The novel series was published on Let's Become Novelists from March 2019 to May 2022, and TO Books' TO Bunko published the light novel that Biyori wrote and Hitaki illustrated in April 2021, releasing it in 11 light novel volumes.

It was adapted into a manga series drawn by Kobato Wakasa in TO Books' Comic Corona magazine in August 2021, and released in 8 manga volumes.

J-Novel Club licensed the series and released it in English, with the first light novel volume released in March 2024 and the first manga volume released in April 2024.
