10-Feet posted an OP MV for the second season of Yugo Kobayashi's "Aoashi".
The official YouTube channel of 10-Feet posted a full MV of "Fortress Defense", and the song serves as the OP theme song for the second season of Yugo Kobayashi's "Aoashi", where the song was released.
According to the vocalist of the band, Takuma Mitamura, he fell in love with the series and has been following the anime as well. The perspective on soccer is very interesting and drawn to the relationships involving Ashito Aoi.
The song is a high-energy song about defending what matters, staying mentally sharp under pressure, and fighting your way forward without giving up. The band consists of Takuma Mitamura on lead vocals and lead rhythm electric guitar, Naoki Inoue on electric bass guitar and backing vocals, and Kouichi Nakaoka on drum kit and backing vocals.
The title literally evokes a fortress that cannot easily be breached. In the song, that fortress represents a strong defensive mentality: protecting your position, resisting pressure, and refusing to let an opponent break through.
It is a battle cry about protecting what you've built while continuing to move forward, using determination, intelligence, teamwork, and composure to overcome whatever tries to stop you.
The second season of the anime series follows Ashito Aoi as he joins the senior youth Team A, where he must adapt to the faster pace and unique traits of veteran senior players. His football team, Esperion, enters the high-stakes youth battle against talented players from the youth Premier League.
The original story centers on Ashito Aoi, a young soccer player from a small Japanese town who joins a top J-League youth soccer team and works his way up to make his professional debut. Although he is talented and challenging, he believes he can change the face of Japanese football.
The anime series will be streamed on Crunchyroll as part of the fall 2026 anime season, available in the Americas (including North, Central, and South America), Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, the CIS, and Asia (including India and Southeast Asia), every Sunday.
