Hiromasa Okujima's "Baban Baban Ban Vampire" manga enters the final stage.

Amazon Japan and Rakuten are listing that Hiromasa Okujima's "Baban Baban Ban Vampire" enters the final stage before being published in the 15th volume of the manga, which releases on Tuesday, December 8th.

The story centers on Ranmaru Mori, a 450-year-old vampire who works as a live-in helper at Koi No Yu, a traditional public bathhouse in Japan. He has a specific and unusual culinary preference: he believes that the ultimate, most delicious taste in existence is the blood of an 18-year-old virgin.

He meets Rihito Tatsuno, a 15-year-old high school student and the sole heir to the bathhouse. Ranmaru's objective is to safeguard Rihito until he turns 18 so that his blood reaches what the vampire considers the ideal state for consumption.

Complications arise when Rihito develops a crush on a classmate, Aoi Shinozuka. Fearing that a romantic relationship will interfere with his long-term plans, Ranmaru initiates a series of comedic interventions to disrupt Rihito's dating life.

The manga series was published in Akita Publishing's Bessatsu Shonen Champion magazine in October 2021 and released in 14 manga volumes. Dark Horse Comics licensed the series and released it in English, with the first manga volume released on Tuesday, November 10th.

It was adapted into a 12-episode anime series that aired in January 2025, a live-action film released in July 2025, and a stage play in September 2025.
