MediaOCD signs a sales agreement with the Independent Manga Alliance.


MediaOCD announced that the company has signed a sales agreement with the Independent Manga Alliance to sell physical editions of manga titles from Mahjong Press and Manga Mavericks to the MediaOCD store.

Independent Manga Alliance is an industry association and joint venture that aims to provide distribution, marketing, and sales support to independent creators and small publishers, linking them to partner publishers and distributors located in the United States or globally.

Manga Mavericks is an independent manga publishing company that expands into licensing, localization, and distributing Japanese indie manga to English-speaking audiences. Their goal is to spotlight talented Japanese creators and bring their unique works to a broader, international readership.

Mahjong Pros Publishing is the publishing imprint of Mahjong Pros, which focuses on licensing, localizing, and distributing mahjong-themed manga and textbooks.

Animate Manila announced the opening date of its first-ever Philippines branch, located on the third floor of One Ayala in Makati, Philippines, on Friday, October 16th.
