Moe Toyota performs a cover of Tommy Heavenly 6's “Pray” on CrosSing.

The official YouTube channel of the CrosSing project has released the music video of voice actress Moe Toyota performing “Pray”, originally performed by Tommy February 6 as the theme song for the OP of Hideaki Sorachi's "Gintama", which aired in July 2006.

According to Toyota, she had the honor of performing the anime theme song originally by Tommy Heavenly 6. As one of her favorite series, "Gintama". It holds deep personal memories for her and stands as an anthem of her youth.

"Pray" is the third single released by Tomoko Kawase under the name Tommy Heavenly 6, and the second single album, "Heavy Starry Heavenly", was released in March 2007. The song placed 10th on the Oricon singles chart.

The song is about breaking free from fear and painful memories, refusing to run from your destiny, and finding the strength to keep moving because you are not alone.

It is about choosing hope over fear: carrying your painful memories and uncertainties with you while moving forward, believing in yourself and staying beside the people you don't want to lose.

"CrosSing" is a cover-song project launched in March 2022 that brings together artists from various fields, including voice actors, anime-song artists, VTubers, and 2.5D stage actors. The project features performers singing songs that hold personal meaning or memories for them, with the recordings released through YouTube and digital music services.
