The official YouTube channel of Pompadolls posted a full MV of "Contemporary Dance", and the song serves as the ED theme song for the second cour of Nekoko and Jaian's "The Exiled Heavy Knight Knows How to Game the System", where the song has already been released.

The song is about expressing yourself freely, accepting your imperfections, and continuing to move forward even when life doesn't go according to plan. It evokes contemporary dance, a form of artistic expression that values individuality, experimentation, and the freedom to communicate feelings through movement rather than following one rigid set of rules. The band consists of Goju Igarashi on vocals and guitar, Rentaro Aoki on guitar, and Kaoru Tajima on drums.

The message of the song is to represent the freedom to be yourself, embrace imperfection, and keep moving through life's uncertainties. Rather than searching for one perfect way to live, you can treat life as a dance: sometimes graceful, sometimes unpredictable, but always open to new movements and possibilities.

The story centers on Elma Edvaughn, a 15-year-old noble who was exiled from the Edvaughn family and regains his memories of a past life on Earth, and recognizes that he's inside a VR online game. He becomes a Heavy Knight, a defense-specialized class with unbalanced stats that is widely considered the weakest class.

While society views Heavy Knights as cowards with zero offensive power, Elma knows the game's mechanics inside and out. He uses his past-life knowledge to level up optimally, effectively break the system, and turn the Heavy Knight into an unstoppable powerhouse.

The anime series will be streamed on Crunchyroll as part of the summer 2026 anime season, available in the Americas (including North, Central, and South America), Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, the CIS, and Asia (including India and Southeast Asia), and also on Muse Asia in selected Asian countries every Thursday.
