Xbox Game Studios and Playground Games' "Forza Horizon 6" releases on PlayStation 5 in January 2027.

Xbox Game Studios and Playground Games announced that "Forza Horizon 6" is available for the PlayStation 5, developed by Panic Button, and will be released on Tuesday, January 26th, 2027. Pre-orders of the video game are available in standard, deluxe, and premium editions.

The Premium Edition and Premium Upgrade are available with 5-day early access on Thursday, January 21st, 2027. Pre-ordering the video game will include an exclusive pre-tuned Ferrari J50, with early access and extra content.

In addition, the first two DLC expansions on Day One are available for free and feature new cars, new events, and new features. The PlayStation 5 version features full cross-platform compatibility, allowing for cross-play and cross-save.

"Forza Horizon 6" is the sixth installment of the "Forza Horizon" series and the fourteenth main installment of the "Forza" series released for Xbox Series S and Series X and PC via Steam in May 2026. The story is set in Japan and features a stylized version of Tokyo as the game world's main city.

The video game series features over 550 cars, focusing on JDM classics and modern vehicles such as the cover car, the Toyota GR GT, and the Toyota Land Cruiser 250, with detailed engine sounds and environments and updated steering animations. It features touge battles with new nighttime races on winding mountain passes. Aftermarket cars were rare vehicles found parked in driveways to discover and buy.

The estate features a large, customizable personal property players can build and decorate, inspired by Japanese culture. The collection journal is a digital scrapbook for collecting mementos and ranking up as you explore. Accessibility features a high-contrast mode for visual clarity, and a new proximity radar and auto-drive, where players discover new tools to assist exploration.

Animate opens its Philippines branch in Makati, Philippines, in October 2026.

Animate Manila announced the opening date of its first-ever Philippines branch, located on the third floor of One Ayala in Makati, Philippines, on Friday, October 16th.
