Crunchyroll adds new anime titles at the New York Comic Con.


Crunchyroll announced at the New York Comic Convention that the company will stream new anime titles for 2027.

The company will stream:
  • Kashiko Amane's "Everyone's Darling Has a Secret", which will stream in April 2027.
  • Ichika Isshiki and Fame's "Berserk Gluttony" Season 2, which will stream sometime in 2027.
  • Akihito Yoshitomi's "Eat-Man".
  • YC and Rakyeon's "Teenage Mercenary", which will stream sometime in 2027.
  • JH's "The Boxer".
  • Alphatart's "The Remarried Empress", which will stream sometime in 2027.

It also added that the company has acquired Hyuganatsu and Touko Shino's "The Apothecary Diaries the Movie: The Late Lady's Treasure", and the anime film will handle North American and worldwide rights, excluding Asia, which will be announced at a later date.

Animate opens its Philippines branch in Makati, Philippines, in October 2026.

Animate Manila announced the opening date of its first-ever Philippines branch, located on the third floor of One Ayala in Makati, Philippines, on Friday, October 16th. Animate is Japan's largest retail chain specializing in anime, manga, video games, and related pop culture merchandise. The first flagship store was opened in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Japan, in 1983.
