Who-Ya Extended posted an ED MV for Toshiaki Iwashiro's "Psyren".

The official YouTube channel of Who-Ya Extended posted a full MV for "Icarus", and the song serves as the ED theme song for Toshiaki Iwasaki's "Psyren", which the song has been released.

The song is about struggling through pain, challenging a distorted world, and finding the courage to keep moving forward even when the future seems hopeless. It explores the conflict between seeking the truth, losing one's sense of direction, and refusing to give up on life.

The name of the song symbolizes ambition, risk, freedom, and the consequences of pursuing something beyond one's reach. Symbolism can be interpreted as more than a warning against overconfidence. It suggests a person who continues trying to escape a painful reality, even when the journey brings suffering and uncertainty.

The song is about having the courage to pursue freedom and live authentically, even when the world is distorted, the truth is difficult to find, and the future is uncertain.

Its deeper message is that you do not need a perfect world, a painless journey, or guaranteed success to keep moving forward. You can acknowledge your wounds without surrendering your dreams. You can admit your mistakes without giving up on yourself. And you can protect what matters to you even when the road ahead is dark.

You might fall while chasing your dreams, but your failures do not have to be the end of your story. Learn, rise, and find the courage to fly again.

The story centers on Ageha Yoshina, a brash, street-smart high schooler who helps others for money but cares deeply about people. When he answers a mysterious call from a payphone after finding a red card labeled Psyren, he and other participants are pulled into a deadly alternate-world survival game orchestrated by a mysterious entity named Nemesis Q.

Psyren is a post-apocalyptic world destroyed by a meteor called Ouroboros that blocked out the sun and wiped out civilization. Surviving in this wasteland forces participants to awaken latent psychic powers called PSI.

Ageha and his allies must fight against Miroku Amagi, the leader of the W.I.S.E. organization, who orchestrates the dystopian future, and discover the truth behind the apocalypse so they can change the future before it happens.

The anime series will be streamed on Crunchyroll as part of the fall 2026 anime season, available worldwide, excluding Japan and China, every Monday.
