Luov posted an ED MV for Asa Rokushima and Kisui's "The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage Enjoys a Second Lease on Life".

The official YouTube channel of Luov posted a full MV for "Role Playing Life", and the song serves as the ED theme song for Asa Rokushima and Kisui's "The Laid-Off Cheat-Granting Mage Enjoys a Second Lease on Life", which has been released.

The song is about breaking free from the expectations of others, discovering your true self, and learning that your worth isn't defined by the role you play in someone else's life. It explores the struggle of living as the person others expect you to be and finding the courage to live as yourself. The group consists of Haldon, Takakuzo, and Natsumi.

The message of the song is that you can fulfill your responsibilities without allowing those responsibilities to define your entire identity. You don't have to be the person everyone expects you to be. You don't have to win everyone's approval. And you don't have to prove your worth every single day. You can take responsibility for your choices, learn from your mistakes, and continue pursuing what matters to you while remaining true to yourself.

Live your life as yourself, not as a character written by someone else. Appreciate the people who accept you, learn from the experiences that challenge you, and keep moving forward even when you're uncertain about the next chapter. You don't need to have your entire life figured out. You just need the freedom to live it honestly.

The story centers on Rain Garland, a support enchanter who is fired from his adventuring guild, Beast's Fangs, because he has already finished strengthening all of their equipment, and they believe they no longer need him. Despite having no prior direct combat experience, Rain joins a smaller guild called Blue Crystal and begins a successful solo and group-led career.

His growing strength catches the attention of high-ranking figures as he eventually gets named a Hero candidate himself and travels to the Uralis Kingdom to help reinforce the seal on the ancient Radiant Dragon, pulling him into a larger war involving magical artifacts known as Heavenly Relics.

The anime series will be streamed on Crunchyroll as part of the fall 2026 anime season, available in the Americas (including North, Central, and South America), Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, the CIS, and Asia (including Southeast Asia), and also on Ani-One Asia in selected Asian countries, every Tuesday.
