Nana Mikoshiba and Riko Kore's "The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World" ends in the 10th light novel volume.

Kodansha is listing that Nana Mikoshiba and Riko Kore's "The Iceblade Sorcerer Shall Rule the World" will end in the 10th light novel volume, to be released on Wednesday, December 2nd.

The story centers on Ray White, a legendary Iceblade Sorcerer who is one of the seven Grand Sorcerers in the world. He fought as a child soldier in a brutal, traumatizing conflict known as the Far East War. After winning the war, he vanished from the public eye, deeply scarred by the loss of close comrades.

Ray enrolls in the prestigious Arnold Academy of Sorcery. He is the school's very first commoner student, which makes him a target of scorn, prejudice, and bullying from noble-born classmates. While trying to enjoy a normal school life and make friends, Ray and his companions are repeatedly pulled into dangerous plots orchestrated by rogue factions like the Eugenics organization and rival sorcerers.

The novel series was published in Let's Become Novelists in October 2019, and Kodansha's Kodansha Ranobe Bunko published the light novel, which Mikoshiba wrote and Kore illustrated in July 2020, and released it in 9 light novel volumes.

It was adapted into a manga series drawn by Norihito Sasaki in Kodansha's Magazine Pocket from June 2020 to January 2024, released in 16 manga volumes, and a sequel with Ishiya Ogane is writing the composition and Nao Kagami illustrates in Kodansha's Suiyobi no Sirius or Wednesday Sirius in May 2026. Kodansha USA licensed the original series and released it in English, with the first manga volume released digitally in November 2021 and in print in August 2022.

It was adapted into two seasons of the anime series, including the first season in January 2023 and the ongoing second season in October 2026.
