Yutori posted an ED MV for the first cour of Dr. Poro and Nabana Nana's "The Vermilion Mask".

The official YouTube channel of Yutori posted a full MV for "Koe", also known as "Voice", and the song serves as the ED theme song for the first cour of Dr. Poro and Nabana Nana's "The Vermilion Mask", which has been released. The band's physical single will be released on Wednesday, December 16th.

The song is about finding the courage to acknowledge your true feelings, express your inner struggles, and accept the journey you're taking before you become the person you want to be. Rather than pretending to be fine or hiding behind a version of yourself that other people expect, the song encourages you to recognize the emotions you've been suppressing. It is about the struggle between what you feel inside and what you show to the outside world.

The band explained that the song was inspired partly by the pressure that comes with continuing to perform and grow as musicians. Although they had sometimes felt as if they were hiding behind a mask, they believed they had remained honest throughout their journey. They wanted people to learn to appreciate the process of becoming something, rather than waiting until they had achieved a particular status. The band consists of Kotoko Sato on vocals and guitar, Fumiya Uchida on guitar and chorus, Taichi Toyoda on bass, and Ren Urayama on drums and chorus.

The message of the song is about being honest with yourself while learning to embrace the person you are becoming. It asks you to stop treating your unfinished self as something you need to conceal. You don't have to wait until you become somebody to believe that your voice matters. Becoming who you want to be isn't only about reaching the finish line. It's also about learning to accept, understand, and appreciate yourself along the way.

The story centers on Peru d'Arrest, a talented young apprentice mask maker haunted by the tragedy of slaughtering his master and peers under the influence of a cursed mask. He vows to wipe all such relics from existence.

When Peru wears a powerful cursed artifact, the Mask of the Warrior God, it drives him into a violent and uncontrollable frenzy. Wracked with guilt and trauma after accidentally killing his master and fellow disciples.

Peru sets out on a journey of atonement to track down and destroy every single legendary mask his late master crafted before they can cause further calamity. He crosses a dangerous world filled with political tension, tragic figures, and rival mask wearers, including the country of Lisblanc.

The anime series will be streamed on Crunchyroll as part of the fall 2026 anime season, available in the Americas (including North, Central, and South America), Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, the CIS, and Asia (including the Indian Subcontinent), and also on Ani-One Asia in selected countries, every Saturday.
