Rie Takahashi releases her new song, "The Day of Beginning", from her first new album, "Amplifier".

The official YouTube channel of Rie Takahashi posted a full MV for "The Day of Beginning", and the song is included on her first album, "Amplifier", to be released on Wednesday, February 24th, 2027. The CD album features a BD that contains concert footage from her 2nd live concert, "A Rie in Wonderland", and extras including a three-sided case, a digipak, and a booklet.

"Amplifier" is Takahashi's full-length solo album under Sony Music's newly established sub-label, Pandora Pops. The album reflects Takahashi's intention to amplify personal feelings, thoughts, and emotions that she could not help but express through music. It features emotional melodies and energetic, guitar-driven arrangements, marking a new chapter in her solo singing career.

The song is about believing in yourself, protecting the spark of your dreams, and finding the courage to begin again, even after failure, discouragement, or losing your way. The central message of the song is that a new beginning is never limited to a single moment in your life. You can rediscover your purpose and start over as many times as you need.

The song is about learning to believe in yourself again and understanding that a new beginning can happen more than once. Its most encouraging lesson is that your first attempt does not have to be your last, your past mistakes do not have to define your future, and your passion does not have to disappear just because the journey becomes difficult.

Takahashi is a member of the musical unit Earphones together with fellow members, Marika Kouno and Yuki Nagaku. She played notable roles including Futaba Ichinose in "Seiyu's Life", Megumin in "Konosuba", Emilia in "ReZero", Mash Kyrielight in "Fate/Grand Order", Ai Hoshino in "Oshi no Ko", and Sumi Sakurasawa in "Rent-A-Girlfriend", where she won the Best Female Newcomer at the Seiyu Awards in 2016.

She made her single debut in April 2021, when she released "U-utsu", and her first EP, "Toumei na Fusen" or "Transparent Sticky Notes", in June 2021. She released two singles and two EPs.
