Hashimero posted an ED MV for SMDE and Kazuhiro Takamura's "Vertex Force".

The official YouTube channel of Hashimero posted a full MV for "Emerald", and the song serves as the ED theme song for SMDE and Kazuhiro Takamura's "Vertex Force", which has been released. Her EP single is scheduled to be released on Wednesday, December 2nd.

The song is about learning to recognize and appreciate the beauty of life, even when everyday experiences are confusing, imperfect, or painful. According to Hashimero, the song centers on the feeling of recognizing something as beautiful and valuing the emotions that arise from ordinary sights and fleeting moments.

The song reminds listeners that even the smallest moments can have genuine meaning, and they should not dismiss them simply because they seem insignificant to other people.

The song is about finding beauty in everyday life, accepting that emotions are complicated, and protecting the experiences that give their lives meaning. The message of the song is to appreciate what you have, give yourself time to grow, and cherish what matters.

Something can be precious because you experienced it, because it changed you, or because it gave you a reason to keep moving forward. And like an emerald, those moments are worth looking at again not because the past must remain unchanged, but because remembering what mattered can help you decide what you want to carry into the future.

The story centers on Haruka Todo, an athletic, cheerful older sister who inherited the alien Engine power and can pilot and materialize giant mecha. Her younger brother is Akira Todo; he practices karate and struggles with an inferiority complex because he did not inherit the Engine power.

Haruka and Akira lived a peaceful life together with their mother in Northern Okinawa. Haruka inherited a special power called Engine from her late father, who was an alien exile from a destroyed world.

When mysterious, skeleton-like biomechanical enemies target Earth, Haruka must use her Engine power to materialize giant mecha and defend the planet. Meanwhile, Akira feels helpless as he watches from the sidelines.

The anime series will be streamed on Crunchyroll as part of the fall 2026 anime season, available worldwide, excluding Japan, China, and Korea, and also on Aniplus Asia in selected Asian countries every Saturday.
