Koji Nakamura posted a lyric MV for the ED of Konami's "Suikoden the Animation“.
The official YouTube channel of Koji Nakamura posted a lyric MV for "Closed Eye Sun" featuring Honoka Takahashi of Regal Lily, and the song serves as the ED theme song for Konami's "Suikoden the Animation", which has been released.
The song is about holding on to hope, memories, and the warmth of life even when the world is filled with pain, uncertainty, and loss. It expresses the quiet strength of someone who continues living and waiting for better days, carrying an inner light that darkness cannot completely extinguish.
Nakamura is composing the ending theme song for the anime in collaboration with the vocalist of Regal Lily, Honoka Takahashi. Takahashi explained that she drew inspiration from the emotional moments and tears she experienced while playing the video game.
The song is about finding the strength to keep living and believing in tomorrow, even when they carry sadness that others cannot see. Its message is not about winning every battle, proving everyone wrong, or forcing life to unfold according to their wishes. It is about preserving the quiet light within them when circumstances become difficult.
Based on the video game series "Suikoden II" released for the PlayStation in December 1998. The story follows childhood friends. Riliu is an outright rebellious, calm, and serious person who is determined to fight against Highland as the leader of the Allied Army.
Jowy Atreides is Riliu's childhood friend, a stoic and yet very serious person who relies on his comrades in the war but maintains his cold and distant demeanor.
As conflict escalates, both boys step forward onto opposing sides of history with conflicting beliefs and answers to an unyielding war.
The anime series will be streamed on the official YouTube channel of Konami under the "Suikoden the Anime" channel and also on Ani-One Asia in selected Asian countries, every Saturday.
