Kana Yoshimura's "Murciélago" reveals the cast coming to HiDive in January 2027.
The official website of Kana Yoshimura's "Murciélago" announces the details, including the cast, which will stream on HiDive as part of the winter 2027 anime season in January 2027.
The cast for the anime series includes Hitomi Ueda as Kuroko Koumori, a state-sanctioned executioner who is a tall, dark-haired former mass murderer with 715 kills under her belt. Despite her unhinged sadism toward vicious criminals, she is proven sane enough to avoid the death penalty. She possesses superhuman reflexes, strength, and an active interest in women.
Minori Suzuki as Hinako Tozakura, Kuroko's partner and a young, innocent-looking girl who drives supercars with physics-defying and reckless precision. She enjoys simple things like hamburger steak, ice cream, and doodling.
Sumire Uesaka as Chiyo Yanaoka, the daughter of the infamous yakuza boss, Tesshin Yanaoka, is a talented swordswoman who emphasizes being able to defend herself. She genuinely cares about Kuroko, and they likely partake in an open relationship.
Takashi Naoya is the chief director, and Matsuo Asami is directing the anime at the animation studios Satelight and Staple Entertainment. Together with Takashi Naoya is writing the series composition, Kiyoshi Tateishi is designing the characters, and Masanori Akita and Yuichi Tsuchiya are composing the music.
The manga series was published in Square Enix's Young Gangan magazine in August 2013, and released in 29 manga volumes. Yen Press licensed the series and released it in English, with the first manga volume released in January 2017.
