The official website of talent agency Intention announced that the company will dissolve on Wednesday, March 31st, 2027.

According to the talent agency, voice actor and founder of the company, Kenichi Suzumura, has an adjustment disorder, and his doctor reportedly advised that his condition would not recover as long as he remained involved in management, leading to the difficult decision to dissolve the company.

The talent agency stated that it will continue its management operations as usual before the company closes in March 2027, while providing as much as possible to its affiliated talents as they prepare for the future.

Intention is a Japanese voice actor agency founded by voice actor Kenichi Suzumura and talent manager Atsushi Kuwabara in May 2009. The agency is known for providing dedicated, individualized managers for each affiliated talent rather than pooling managers across a large roster.

Voice actors who have worked in the agency include Yuichi Nakamura, Yuma Uchida, Shoya Ishige, Nao Toyama, Ayaka Asai, Natsumi Kawaida, and Natsuko Abe.
