Tooboe posted an ED MV for Oreco Tachibana's "Firefly Wedding".


The official YouTube channel of Tooboe posted a full MV for "Trance", and the song serves as the ED theme song for Oreco Tachibana's "Firefly Wedding", which has been released. His CD single will be released on Wednesday, November 4th.

The song conveys a dreamy, dreamlike state or feeling of being lost in a dream. It is an exploration of being caught up in an overwhelming emotional experience, almost as if reality has become a dream. The music video is directed by Miel, with character designs by Mai Ohtani, and produced by Japanese animation studio Qzil.la.

Tooboe is a solo music project produced by John, whose real name is Ryo Yamasaki. Yamasaki is a Japanese singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, and Vocaloid producer who handles nearly every aspect of his music production, including lyrics, composition, arrangement, vocals, illustrations, and music video creation.

The song is about discovering the vulnerability of love after believing you need no one. It explores how another person can become your source of comfort, how shared pain can create an intimate bond, and how the happiness of finding someone can bring the fear of losing them.

Independence and emotional connection are not opposites. You can be capable of standing on your own and still discover something extraordinary through another person.

The story centers on Satoko Kirigaya, a young noblewoman from the Kirigaya family, who is beautiful, intelligent, and from a respected family name, but she suffers from a serious heart condition that limits her lifespan.

She encounters Shinpei Goto, an assassin who has been hired to kill Satoko. When Shinpei agrees to marry Satoko, they are forced to survive dangerous situations.

Shinpei is haunted by his past but begins to show care, obsession, and fierce protection toward Satoko. Satoko has very little time left before her heart stops.

The anime series will be streamed on Crunchyroll as part of the fall 2026 anime season, available in the Americas (including North, Central, and South America), Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, the CIS, and Asia (including the Indian Subcontinent), and also on Muse Asia in selected Asian countries, every Friday.

Animate opens its Philippines branch in Makati, Philippines, in October 2026.

Animate Manila announced the opening date of its first-ever Philippines branch, located on the third floor of One Ayala in Makati, Philippines, on Friday, October 16th. Animate is Japan's largest retail chain specializing in anime, manga, video games, and related pop culture merchandise. The first flagship store was opened in Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Japan, in 1983.
